Kimbra Designs
Digital Designer
Feb 2020 - May 2021
Responsible for the entire creative department and product development as part of a small team. Innovated in trend research, product photography, email marketing and content creation as well as working with my team, overseas suppliers and contract partners to develop jewelry, home goods and holiday gift designs for both large scale and small scale production.
Designing for Kimbra consisting of both internal and contract product development, graphic design, and all creative in between. Everyday challenged me to build my skills in design, marketing, operations, and more.
Product Development
Kimbra's pieces center around your memories, where connection and expression are cornerstones of every one of other designs. Every piece strives to celebrate the people and places you have loved, lost, and don't want to forget.
During my time at Kimbra, I developed our templated product line of custom photo pillows and framed art. I was asked to center these designs alongside 5 major themes: Pets, Baby, Love, Family, and Memorial.

While designing jewelry, I worked alongside Kimbra by sketching, modeling, and mocking up renders for all design proposals. Not only did I prototype by communicating with our oversea producers, but I engraved and 3D printed in house to build out our line of personalized gifts.

The Gold Line
Throughout my year at Kimbra, I worked with Kimbra and our Creative Director to develop our newest collection: The Gold Line.
A modern callback to our most-loved classics, The Gold Line offers a new finish while staying true to our most popular Kimbra photo jewelry.
I was responsible for all modeling, spec sheets and sample prototyping in tandem with our overseas factory production. Color, material, and finish were major players when designing this line. Our final collection consists of 2 charms: round and rectangle, and 3 chain designs: saturn, paperclip, and rosary. The Gold Line is set to be released in 2022.
As the staff photographer, I was responsible for all photography and digital content for the website, social media, ads, emails, and blog.
Digital Design
At Kimbra, I was product development
lead with our largest partner, Shutterfly.
I was responsible for both developing the
final design and integrating our jeweled
heart ornament into production.
I created all spec sheets, technical drawings,
and mechanical drawings for the product
development process. Due to the custom
photo aspect of the product, this process
included prototyping our design with die
cut and resin coated photos.

Specification Sheets
In addition to updating the companies SOPs and operation practices,
I worked alongside our VP and Creative Director to update our branding and develop a new spec sheet standard to expedite future product development processes.
